WAVE

Cera Stribley were commissioned to explore the potential of a prominent site in one of Melbourne's boom suburbs, Altona. Whilst not traditionally a suburb primed for large developments, Altona presents a unique potential in its close proximity to both city and sea.

Our proposal aims to soften the existing 'hard' environment through a curved and softened architectural approach. Glass is featured prominently to provide residents with the best opportunity to get bay views. The curvaceous plan provides greater separation between neighbouring properties and the 'wave' screening elements that clad the facade provide the building with a sense of uniqueness and definition that is unparalleled in Melbourne's West.
